After 12 years (when I played this course or the first time, or better: tried to play it) I installed this course again, on a modern laptop, with no technical problems at all. I was satisfied, after playing under ideal conditions, with 1 eagle and 12 birdies.
Never minded the 375 small bunkers.

A very tough links-style course, with some trees (mostly along the left side of the fairways), where your final score will be determined by your... tee shots if you can avoid all those pot bunkers, spread everywhere !
The right dogleg par-4 1st hole is a nice way to start with cliffs on the right, a tee shot over a little creek across in the middle, and a choice of two fairways, further apart, separated by deep rough and some gorse bushes.
Then, after the nice right dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with trees on the left and the cliffs on the far right, you will face the right dogleg par-4 4th, a little bit similar to the 3rd, but with a slightly-uphill tee shot over gorse and deep rough, and some fences around a field all along on the right side, near the cliffs.
The right par-5 6th hole, on another hand, is quite long (more than 610 yards) and is uphill all the way, with a wide fairway between trees on the left and fences on the right, but, for once, you can avoid the pot bunkers if you hit your tee shot on the right side of the fairway.
The par-4 7th hole is quite scenic, with a tee shot over gorse and more pot bunkers, landing near the fences on the right, and leaving you with a clear view of the green (with wide cliffs behind), and is followed by the par-4 8th, with a blind uphill tee shot over some bushes, a little creek on the right halfway, and more pot bunkers, and the nicer par-4 9th hole, uphill over some more gorse, with trees on the left and even more pot bunkers...
Coming back, I like the par-4 10th hole, not easy with a fairway along the cliffs on the left and five pot bunkers halfway in the middle, and a green, slightly to the left, and the picturesque right dogleg par-4 11th, even tougher with, again, the cliffs on the left, a serpentine creek on the right and plenty of pot bunkers all over.
Other holes worth mentioning are the left dogleg par-4 15th, with plenty of gorse on the left side of the tee box, a blind tee shot slightly uphill along the cliff on the left side, and an approach shot over deep rough and gorse to reach the green (with more pot bunkers around), the par-3 17th hole, with a blind tee shot uphill over plenty of gorse and the cliffs on the left, and the par-4 18th, with the cliffs on the left, plenty of pot bunkers, a little creek across in the middle of the fairway, and an uphill shot to the green, with a dark clubhouse behind.
Overall, this par 70 is definitely not an easy course and if you can manage to avoid all those pot bunkers, you should give yourself a big... round of applause !
Even though I did not count them, it seems that the back 9 has more pot bunkers, so be prepared to take out your bucket and spade if you want to play this Edinbury Club course, nicely designed by dave319, even if I am not fond of the two-color ocean and its horizon, not really smooth, as Tripel43 pointed out...

Very nice links design Dave, didn't know you had it in ya ;) . Seriously, runs great on my old PC with settings high enough to see all the gourse, grasses and everything else in lovely splendor.

Very nice course. Excellent ground work. Plays very smooth. Glad to see more designers making GOLF courses.
