This designer still has a lot to learn, but at least he hasn't fallen into the trap that catches many a newby designer of overstating things. If anything, this course is completely understated. It looks like the designer started out with a flat plot, and left it largely at that. For a beginning designer, that is not necessarily a bad thing. It allows him to concentrate on his hole lay-out, which looked pretty OK to me, although many holes had a bit of 'wizardish' feel to me, meaning that they looked like they were create with the course wizard, which should be avoided like the plague, of course. :D
When this designer starts to work a bit more with the terrain and learns how to elevate and smooth it into a more realistic shape, I'm pretty sure he can come up with some fine designs in the future.
