If 5 is the number of lakes on this course, 4 is the number of the hole that you will have to reach to see one of them for the first time !
But, before you do, make sure to pile up birdies (if you can !) on the first three holes (the straight par-4 1st, the short left dogleg par-4 2nd and the short and straight par-4 3rd), before facing all those water holes, very pretty but quite challenging with plenty of tee shots and/or approaches over the lakes needed to reach quite a few small greens.
As previously mentioned, you will get your first “taste” of water on the pretty par-4 4th hole, with two bunkers in the middle of a narrow fairway to avoid, and a wide lake (on the left), before heading for the scenic and tough par-3 5th, with a tee shot over another lake landing onto a small peninsula green (with a bunker on the right to watch for).
On the straight but very long (more than 650 yards) par-5 6th hole, you can forget about getting an eagle after hitting your tee shot over the lake again, with an undulating fairway, “starting” midway, and an elevated green (only reachable on your third shot), but you might be able to birdie the pretty right dogleg par-4 7th, with a tee shot landing near the lake, midway in front, and a green, set next to it.
Last, but not least, the par-3 8th hole will offer you another nice view, with a wide lake between the tee and the green...
After the down-and-up par-4 10th hole, you will move on to the gorgeous but very challenging right dogleg par-5 11th, with a tee shot over a huge elongated lake landing onto a serpentine fairway (with a couple of rocks on its edge), and a second shot over the river (flowing into another lake) to reach its undulating green (with a nice little bridge to gaze at, on the left), and follow up with the pretty par-3 12th, with a tee shot over the lake landing onto a small green, again very close to the water.
Then, after a couple of straight par-4 holes (13th, 14th), you will face water again on the par-4 15th, rather “easy”, with a wide fairway and a lake to the left of the green, before reaching my favorite hole, the beautiful par-3 16th, with a small wooden arched bridge (on the right) and an island sloped green, reachable via another nice and tiny bridge.
Finally, after the par-4 17th hole, with a tee shot over part of a lake (mostly on the right) and an approach to the green, with a big mound (and three big rocks) behind it, you will hit your last tee shot on the straight par-5 18th, while making sure to avoid a big bunker to the left, midway (as the undulating fairway is quite narrow), and a challenging uphill approach to the elevated green, with a bunker in front (and beautiful flowerbeds behind on the slope below the nice clubhouse).
With its pretty tree-lined fairways, elevation changes, and its (often) small undulating greens, set next to wide lakes, this par 72, designed by Bigstamp49, is delightful to play (as long as you don’t get your feet wet !) and one that I would recommend with a big... stamp of approval !

P.S. To fully enjoy the scenery, you might have to toggle the shader level to either low or medium, depending on whether you want to see more detailed houses or water looking nicer...
