Yes that problem update (; KB2778344 ) was for win8, not sure you will still find it in the list when you upgraded to Win8.1

| Problem is when I go to the uninstall update app the history is only showing me the last month or so of updates and they all begin With KB 288 or KB289. I don't see a record of that numbered update. I thought maybe it was one of those but how do I know which one? I don't want to start uninstalling updates one-at-a-time to find out. |

Yes i don t think you will find that update in the list, it was a Win8.0 update.
Since you ugraded to Win8.1 you will only see updates that will start with KB288 or 289
All previous updates from Win8.0 are included in the win8.1 package, so i am afraid it is impossible to uninstall that problem update separate in Win8.1 |

| Damn, and I thought we were going to solve the damned thing. Still can't understand why you guys are playing it on 8.1 and I'm not. Doesn't make any sense. |
