Everyone,
I noticed the other day that the blimp was flashing, like it had a message running across the side of the blimp, during play. Since this started when I began running the game in Windows 8, I suspect the problem may have the same source as the static water "flow": for some reason the shader doesn't really work with some features. Am I wrong?
Any help or insight would be appreciated. |

I am on Win8 and can t fix the static water here.
I had the flashing blimp too, but it is fixed now, this is what i had to do:
( not sure you will have the options i described below )
I am using a nvidia graphics card ( powerfull card ), but there is also a graphics chipset on the motherboard ( not that powerfull ).
So when i start a program my system will calculate if it needs to run with the powerfull nvidia card or with the graphics chipset ( not that powerfull ).
Since TW08 is an older game my systems thought it would run fine on the graphics chipset.
So i had to tell my system TW08 must run with the Nvidia graphics card.
This is how i did it:
On desktop,on bottom in the taskbar i have icon: Nvidia settings
(Or right click any place on desktop, and in list choose: Nvidia settings )
When i click that the nvidia page will open.....now on top go to: Program settings
now you should see a list with all programs, look for: TW08
And below you will see a box where you can choose you graphics card.
In box select: Powerfull Nvidia processor
After that i started TW08 and the graphics are better now, also the blimp shows up very well.
( But the water reflections are still a problem )

I've got good news! I updated my graphics card and the flashing blimp has stopped. |
