When I click on the link for World Friends Golf, I get a Web Alert with the following message THREAT DETECTED-Exploit injection.
Are you aware of this and is it anything to be worried about? |

It is another SQL injection attack....it is good idea to stay away from site for a while until the problem is fixed.
I will send message to other administrators....they will take care of the problem.

I realllllllly want to clarify something.....YOUR COMPUTER IS NOT GOING TO GET INFECTED BY THESE ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!! The warning you see is a message to scare you, it also is a way to advertise to you that the program you have is protecting your computer. The is trying to use a old hole in internet explorer that allowed java source files to be executed within an IFRAME on your local computer. If you get a warning when visiting ignore it your software did its job along with Microsoft who plugged that hole a VERY long time ago. I finished cleaning thier site for them today and am writing software to monitor all of the databases on the site for these attacks while plugging all the holes that they are using to attack the sites.
On top of that if you havent already you should have Spybot Search and Destroy installed, keep it updated and make sure to immunize your system. It will block any attempts by your computer to contact the sites responsible for this latest range of attacks. |

Whats the point in attacking a golf related site? Was someone banned and is now attacking the site for retribution?
Whoever it is needs to get a life pretty quickly. |

| Its not a person thats doing it....its a program that is crawling the web and looking for vulnerable sites. Since this site is 9 years old we are playing catchup to plug all the holes. Which is why were creating a new site from scratch. |

If you are referring to worldfriends then that is now fixed, with that site especially I rely on being informed as soon as something is wrong so I can fix it,sooner rather than later the worldfriends site will be rebuilt in an effort to prevent this in the future but im hoping to wait till the end of the season to cause as little disruption as possible. |
