The Golf Club of Georgia is a member-owned, private club in Alpharetta, Ga., just north of Atlanta, featuring two Arthur Hills-designed championship courses, Lakeside and Creekside. The Golf Club of Georgia is highly supportive of amateur golf, hosting The Georgia Cup since 1998 and The United States Collegiate Championship since 2006. Lakeside is the annual site of the United States Collegiate Championship and also has hosted U.S. Open Sectional qualifying. Established at The Golf Club of Georgia in 1998, The Georgia Cup annually brings together the reigning United States Amateur and British Amateur Champion for an 18-hole match in advance of the Masters. In 1999, Golf Digest honored Lakesides par-5, 607-yard 11th hole as one of “America’s Best 99 Golf Holes.” You’ll begin your round in the rolling woodland, along creeks and below enormous pines and oaks that gently wave in the warm Georgia breeze.
