Course Architect Comments
The Lying Aces is one of the oldest and surely most strictly private golf courses in France. It was founded after the Great War by a number of ace pilots, from both the Allied and the German sides, who somehow managed to escape the carnage and forged a bond of friendship since.

The course is still owned and maintained by their grandsons, as are some of their surviving bi- and triplanes, which they like to take out for a flight from the courses private airstrip when the weathers nice. When its not, they play golf. The course also sports an ancient Roman circus and a medieval tower, which is said to once have belonged to Msr Gilles de Rais, the original Bluebeard...
