Designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1986, who was given a brief to design a golf experience equal in beauty, strategic quality, and condition as well as being comparable to the great golf courses of the world.
Due to host the 37th Ryder Cup in September of 2008, this course is one of only a few courses to have hosted Ryder Cup, Senior PGA and PGA Championships.
My rendition of this excellent couse in Louisville Kentucky features correct Ryder tournament yardages, club hole handicaps, some deep deep rough.
At 7,291 yards this Par 72 course will challenge all levels of play.
This course is a unique combination of Scottish-style links for the front nine holes and a traditional back nine adorned with maple and sycamore trees, limestone rock formations and gentle streams.
