Gorgeous course with its tree-lined fairways, narrow at times, and its spectacular par-3s.
Once again, the CGX team did it... again with superb plantings and tough water hazards, making this par-71 a masterpiece.
If the first three holes are pretty without being overly difficult (I like the view from the tee of the par-4 3rd hole), the two par-3 4th and 7th holes are magnificent : the 4th has water very close to the green, whereas the 7th, less difficult, is very pretty with its wide bunkers all around the green. If the dogleg to the left par-4 8th hole has a nice approach shot to the green, with water to the left side, I prefer the par-4 9th with its bottleneck fairway and its nice houses near the green.
After three straight... doglegs on the back 9, you will reach the par-3 14th hole, very picturesque and tough with its tee shot coming close to the trees and the water on the right side. Then, after a long dogleg par-5 15th hole, with a lake on the left side, the final stretch is quite challenging : the dogleg to the left par-4 16th hole has a lone tree standing right in the corner, partially blocking the view of the green.
The last par-3 17th hole is gorgeous with its elongated bunker near the green on the left side and the marshland beyond, but the signature hole on this course is the par-4 18th, with its spectacular view of the lake on the left side and the harbour beyond as your reach the green.
With its superb design, this course is delightful to watch and play and ranks as one of the best courses ever designed by the CGX team !

Like many others this is a perennial favourite of mine too, going way back to the Links386 days...ahh memories. Never has it looked so good as here though - this is just perfection! Always loved this course/layout, one of the greats, a Dye masterpiece - and the collective par 3's are indeed as good as any. Brilliant designing, this is an absolute joy to play, cheers!

Played four rounds here and I still find this course very nice to play. Added in breezy and there were times I was hacking around in under those big pine trees. Even there it was nice enough to hit out sideways as mostly on pine needles. Just a very nice design of a RCR. No one commented since a year and a half - so thought I would. Awesome course RobC
I wonder if I am ready to try Gusty or Windy here ? hmmmmmm

A beautiful well done golf course. A joy to play. Compared to EA designed one in game - this one is awesome. Excellent playability. Thank you for this course.
