Another interesting course, with a forest as a backdrop and different landscapes whether you are playing above or below the rock face, with a meandering river, some elevation changes, and with plenty of deep rough and bushes all around.
After the opening and slightly-uphill par-4 hole and its wide rocky area, splitting the fairway across, halfway, “forcing” you to hit a blind approach to the elevated green, I like the right dogleg par-4 2nd, with a downhill tee shot landing near a winding river on the right and a few small rocks scattered on the left of the fairway, and a second shot over the water to reach the green, and the par-3 3rd hole, with a tee shot over the meandering river on the right flowing across the green (to the left), surrounded by three bunkers.
The right dogleg par-5 4th hole is pretty tough, with a downhill tee shot and a long and blind second shot over the meandering river and trees on the right toward the green, just like the pretty right dogleg par-4 6th, with a downhill tee shot over some wide rocky area, landing near deep rough and bushes on the left of the fairway, past the corner, and a slightly-uphill second shot toward the green.
Then, after the left dogleg par-5 7th hole, wide open and with a slanted fairway and a big lake in the left corner, midway, and a long second shot toward the sloped green (over some deep rough, bushes and a few rocks), you will finish with two easier holes, the par-4 8th, downhill all the way, with plenty of deep rough and bushes on both sides of the fairway, and the par-3 9th, nice too but less downhill to the green.
You will start the back 9 with two more links-style holes, the left dogleg par-5 10th, downhill all the way, with more bushes and deep rough along the fairway and with a blind second shot over a small mound (filled with more deep rough and bushes) to reach the green, and the right dogleg par-4 11th, back the other way and downward to the green.
The scenic right dogleg par-4 12th hole, on the other hand, is uphill all the way with a tee shot over deep rough and a wide rocky area in front of the elevated green, and is followed by the nice downhill par-3 13th, facing the forest, with more deep rough and bushes all around, and an elongated bunker on the left of the green.
The left dogleg par-5 14th hole, uphill all the way, is pretty too, with a tee shot over some deep rough, landing onto a heavily-undulating and sloped fairway (with wide rocky areas on both sides, midway), and a long shot toward the green, with a big elongated bunker in the back and a smaller one to the right, whereas the par-3 16th can be tricky with its small green, and three elongated bunkers on both sides.
As for the right dogleg par-5 17th hole, you will need a little luck (and some tail wind !) to land your tee shot beyond the river crossing the fairway (next to the trees in the corner, midway on the right), before hitting your second shot above some more rocky areas (across and to the left), not too far from the green, guarded by a big elongated bunker (on the left) and two smaller ones on the right...
Then, you will finish with the left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a downhill tee shot through a narrow gap between the tree-lined fairway, landing onto a much wider fairway and an approach to the green, over a big pond, mostly on the left.
With its changing landscapes, and its few tricky greens and blind shots, this Bluegrass club is well designed by Hunting Leopard, even though I feel it would look better with a different panorama, but that does not take away the nice job done on this par 72, fun to play...

Nice course loved the design and landscaping was not keen on the greens a bit... putt up one side and roll off down the other side pin placement on easy was...not easy! but I did enjoy it good placement of bunkers if you could get more reward for getting to the greens then it would be a cracker
