An interesting and frustrating course : interesting, because of its nice landscape, plantings, bunkers' work, water hazards and its doglegs, and frustrating, because the pano does not look realistic, outlining buildings more than really showing them, and with a few holes having big grainy patches between the horizon and the plot. On the front 9, i like the left dogleg par-5 4th hole, with a little creek across the fairway and not far from the elevated green, the left dogleg par-4 5th, with a few bunkers on both sides of the fairway, midway near a meandering creek flowing across (and a slightly-elevated green), and the left dogleg par-4 7th hole, with an elevated green and a nice overview (with a castle on the left) as you reach the green. But the two nicest holes are the gorgeous downhill par-4 8th, with a beautiful castle on the right, midway through, with a big pond behind, and the very sharp dogleg to the left par-5 9th hole, with bunkers in the corner and a big house/mansion below the very nice (and long) railroads tracks (where you will stop if you want to play this course !). The back 9 has some noteworthy holes too, starting with the sharp left dogleg par-4 11th, with more bunkers in the corner, and the very long (more than 700 yards !) par-5 13th hole, with big lakes on both sides of a narrow fairway, getting narrower in the middle, and with a slightly-elevated green. The downhill dogleg par-4 14th hole, with a big lake on the right side of the fairway and behind the green, and the slightly-downhill dogleg par-5 17th, with a long approach shot to the green are also worth mentioning, along with the slightly-downhill par-4 18th hole, with a lake on the right, the railroad tracks along the fairway on the far left, and that big house/mansion (seen on the 9th hole) on the left side of the green. Out in the Woods is a nice par 73 which plays very smoothly, but it could be even nicer with a better-looking pano and no more grainy patches, but it is still a definite keeper, thanks to Chimaera Design's vivid imagination !

To the Author, have not tried this course yet but just add to what you said about the ratings...its the same the other way around a course which is just average or below is instantly rated a 5 star! Do not get put off with idiots, I will play this one soon and I already know that it will be excellent. Waiting for a new computer to be delivered, I am on an old spare one online at the moment, I am looking forward to playing this course with all graphic options on max!

A very nice layout by a skilled designer. The rating system can never satisfy it's purpose to all needs - and there will always be an element that prefers to try and spoil the enjoyment for others. I, for one, enjoy your courses and having made attempts with the CA myself, appreciate the work that goes in to creating an enjoyable and challenging course for the game. Well done man!

I know I am the designer so I am p[robably biased, but anybiody who givest his course just one star is either a blind and blithering idiot or he (or she, who knows) holds a personal grudge against me. A bit childish if you ask me, esopecially if the rater doesn't bother to post a comment. I doubt he even downloaded it. Cowardice apparently comes naturally to some. It is these things that are starting to take the fun out of course designing for me.
