Why would this course need to be redone when the 06 CA comes out? This course is at the moment, the only 06 course avail that IS made with the 06 CA. Jimbo does some work with EA/HGS every yr and in doing so he has access to the Game and other extras long b4 they t released. Im sure this course is one he made while testing the CA! It plays fine for me and as always a perfect real/fantasy course.

Tried the course in 06. Its playable but there are some graphical glitches. I have all the 04 and 05 stock libraries installed. Ive noticed that some downloaded 04 and 05 courses work in 06 and some dont. Hopefully EA will release a patch to correct this. Jimbo, when the 06 CA is released, would love to see this course redone. Looks like a beauty.

Thanks Jeff. Clears it up for me. I wasnt aware of that policy(seeing that I havent ever designed a course, until this year, just wish the CA would get released so I can get started. Thanks again.

We do not have a separate 05 converted courses section like TWC has and with the way we have things set up we wont. Our policy for courses will be the way it has been in the past. In order for a course to be called an 06 course it will have to use 06 stock libraries. If a course does not use any 06 stock libraries and instead uses only 05 stocks, it will be listed as an 05 course. If it uses a mix, it would be listed as an 06 course since it would contain 06 libraries and users would have to have 06 in order to play it.

First, No we werent under an NDA during testing of the CA. We were told we could talk about it, just not share it. How come I was able to release this? Because I asked, and they said yes. As for 05 courses being called 06 courses, I guess thats up to the site owners. But at TWC, no 05 compiled courses will be called 06 courses. What they do here is there choice.

I agree.

If someone takes the time to find out why his 2k5 course doesnt work in 2k6 and fixes it, I think the course should be upgraded to a 2k6 course. Just my two cents.

I was wondering, if the CA is not released how were you able to release this course for TW 06. Seems to me, if the CA was still in Beta then you should not be able to relese a final version 06 Coustom Course. Is there not a NDA on the CA Beta? Just wondering.

The Course Architect will be available at the EA Sports web site as a download...when they officially release it.

Hehehehe...Jimbo has never made a bad course... and this one with a beta CA is amazing.

Greens are wicked bad (as in a challenge) as are all Jimbo course. I love the deep rough.

This is a very good course, love the layout and the structures, but the grass textures show up bleached out. I loaded one of my 05 courses into 06 and the textures were much lighter in that one also. Dont know if its my video card or if a custom course patch is whats needed again this year. I also noticed that each hole seemed like it took a lot longer to load. Nice course though, as everything by Jimbo usually is. Barry
